About Us

OUR MISSION

OUR special use permit

OUR special use permit

Our mission is to promote fun and safe tennis and pickleball on Point Loma.  We maintain six lovely tennis courts: four are behind the Fire Station at 1049 Catalina Blvd., San Diego, CA 92106; two are at Cabrillo Recreation Center at 3051 Cañon St., San Diego, CA 92106.  At the Cabrillo courts you will also find lined Pickleball courts.  All membership dollars go to maintaining the courts and making sure they are ready for your tennis and pickleball pleasure.  Enjoy!

We are a San Diego-based nonprofit 501(c)(7) public use corporation.  Although the courts are owned by the City, we hold a Special Use Permit from the City of San Diego to keep our court surfaces in tip top condition.  We also are tasked with the repair and replacement of nets and we ensure the wind screens do the job they are meant to do.  We provide tennis lessons, but your participation in these lessons is not a requirement for your membership.
